im not sure if a set is made for the first gen SV or not,but i bought a set of aftermarket mirros and they are LOW.too low.i've seen guys with them on their 2nd gens,is there any differance,or are they just a standard 10mm spacer?and does anybody know where to get a set?

GenMar also makes spacers for 1st gens. They were the first mod I made and they work.

random, do you have a naked or an S? the solutions mentioned so far are for the S...little spacer blocks that sit between the fairing and the mirror.

lots of peeps seem happy with chewy's.

I have the GenMar ones, and I'm pretty happy with them. Very high quality construction anodized aluminum. Moves the mirrors out about 1 inch. I can see behind me much better, but honestly not as well as I had hoped. Still, a big improvement. http://www.zianet.com/GenMar/

edit: oops, sorry, those are for 2nd gen. chewy does make some for 1st gen.

Tell them you are gonna be using them on a SV, they'll give you the same threads. Ducs have one right handed and one left handed.

They are pricey, but you can see with them. ;)
