So for Saturday, I had to make rice for our lunch at the museum. I was so tired Friday night, that I didn't want to make it then, so I had to make a huge box of Zataran's Jambalaya (don't kill me Louise) Saturday morning. Both my saucepans were dirty, and I didn't feel like cleaning them. So, I follow the microwave directions.
Put the box contents and water in the microwave, in my glass caserole dish. 25 minutes later, I had the best rice I've ever had, outside a steamer. It was fluffy, didn't stick together, and was perfectly done! From a microwave!
From now on, I'm doing all my rice a'la radiation.
