I put the S model clip-ons on my naked. I have been using the naked brake master cylinder for a while now, but I don't like the angle it sits at. Soon, I will be putting Woodcraft clip-ons on, and I need some info on the S master cylinder. I can't seem to find many SV m/c's on eGay, so I am wondering if I can use, say, a GSXR or other m/c. They seem to get wrecked more, and there is tons of stuff on eBay for them. I also posted in the Wanted forum to see if any of you have one. Any info would be great.

If SVS master is what you're after try searching Ebay for one of these:

2001-2003 GSX-R 600, 2000-2003 750, 2000-2002 GSX-R 1000

Also RC-51 and twin rotor Brembos should work.

Are all RC-51s the same?

What about connecting it up to the brake lights?
Not sure if the SP1 and SP2 are the same, but I think they are, and the brake switch from the SV will unscrew and mount perfectly on the RC51 mc. I know someone who has done it.

Very little sense in going for an SV master cylinder when an upgrade wouldn't be much more. I got a used Brembo radial, the 16mm version, for roughly what a good condition SV one would go for.
