Are there any cycle shops in or around Norfolk where I can actually try on a pair of boots? I was all over Richmond today, but not a single shop had more than 1 model and a handful of sizes. I would really like to put my feet in a pair of boots before I buy them. Any help would be great, thanks.

Having that same exact issue here in Richmond. :(

We only have a few dealerships that sell gear, and their selection is extremely limited (and poor).

I wish we had a Cycle Gear or Motorcycle Superstore up here.

I went to Sprocketz, Richmond Superbike, Virginia Yamaha, and Ultimate Cycle and the road boot selection was abysmal.

I'll check a couple places Monday, but not too hopeful.
I want boots, too, have been looking at CompetionAccessories.com, but if they don't fit it would cost around $10 to send them back.
Zappos.com has totally free return shipping, but I haven't found any motorcycle boots there.

I made the hour and a half drive down to Norfolk and was at Cycle Gear as soon as they opened. They really didn't have much for selection or sizes, but luckily I fit into the sz45 A* S-MX 5's nicely. Plus 10% discount for being military, woohoo!

They had S-MX 5's, S-MX Plus's, and some Frank Thomas boots. A few pairs for touring, and that was it. A few more for the dirt riders.
