So...say I was going on a long vacation. About a year or so in the mountains. Across a giant pond. What is the best way to set my bike up for over a year of sitting?

I have Bit Pull stands, front and rear with the tree attachment.

Changed oil w/ filter
filled er up with premium
stabil in fuel
didnt raise the tires since they were gone anyway but would have otherwise
got a king size "pink" sheet to fit over the bike and used duct tape to hold it down
bungied a garbage bag to my intake and exaust
washed it better than I ever did in life
waxed it like never before
cleaned the chain
used axle crease on chain
changed blinker fluid

Blinker fluid has been on backorder all over town. NAPA is supposed to have a shipment in on Wednesday, though.

Aside from the blinker fluid, that's pretty much what I thought. My tires will probably be replaced, anyway, when I get back this time, but I'll probably lift it. I'll park it in my buddy's garage who leaves for the sand box a few months before I go to the rock pile.

It works out...he can get my bike ready for the road by the time I return :D
