I just went out and bought a 19mm deep set socket and was about to put on my motosliders and decided to re-read the instructions.....I saw that we need to use Loctite on one of the bolts.

My question is how much do we use and what exactly do i apply it too? I am new to the motorcycle world and I just want to make sure I don't F*** something up and end up costing me a ton of cash to get it fixed when I could of used a lil Loctite to avoid the whole issue.

Thanks

Re: Lotite clarification...for a noob

Use Blue threadlocker. Put a like a dime- or nickel-sized dab on the end of the bolt threads.

I like to apply it to the nut. Doesn't matter, either the threads of the nut or the bolt. It's not a 100% necessity, we just recommend it. My own bike, honestly, has no loctite on the frame sliders and has been fine. But I don't like to count on that for 100% of my customers.
