FINALLY got around to setting up the strobes and taking some shots today of my 2006. To be totally honest, I bought this bike the way it is for the most part:

Catalyst Composites body and tail
SV Racing rearsets
Yoshi TRS carbon slip on
Clear Alternatives tail light
rear hugger (not sure what make...)
Suzuki gel seat

So far I added the CF front fender and found a stock (non-body colour painted..) windscreen and that's about it. I plan on painting the rear hugger gloss black once the weather gets a bit nicer because it seems weird to have colour in that particular spot on the bike. Previous owner had it painted. I really like the colour, but the graphics aren't quite my style. They're livable for now but I think I'll get it painted next winter. Anyway, figured I'd share the SV porn with y'all:

Aw, thanks PaPa-G- that's a really great compliment. I guess I just lit it well. Here's the setup for the photo geeks on the board. I know there are a few. The shots were taken today at 4pm. I had the strobes cranked to drown out the daylight so that it looked darker out.

Thanks, Pecha. They came out exactly how I planned, so that's gotta count for something! Made it worth lugging all of my gear outside. Haha.

Hey Klyftonite, that's the Suzuki gel seat- nothing special like a Corbin or anything like that but still pretty comfy. I think the stock seat looks better than the gel seat. The gel seat is a little too round and blobby compared to the stocker and so visually it's kind of out of place on a bike that's otherwise so angular.

But my ass thanks me every day for it, so whatev. Haha.

That would be a gen-u-iiine Suzuki gel seat. (Take it from me, they're not as soft and squishy as they look.)
Yeah, they definitely aren't but at the same time they're a bit better than the stock one. I'd rather get a Corbin or Sargeant seat but that'll have to wait until next season.

Like the bike froghammer! Your right about the tire hugger, I'm thinking about getting a CF one, and those decals/sticker have got to go. I'm impressed with your pictures, you really have the artistic ability when it comes to photography and bikes! The only other thing I would do is: GSX-R forks (because they look sexy and make the bike handle good), black shorty levers, and a custom seat (the SV gel seat is too fat IMO).

Thanks so much, JPL. Oh, how I'd love a GSXR front end. But there are just so many pain in the ass things that go along with that- mainly the speedometer problem. Also, I'm really light- like 135 pounds light. So the stock suspension is alright for me at this point in my learning curve. They really are sexy looking though.

I agree that the seat is too blobby. Doesn't fit the lines of the rest of the bike at all. It'll be replaced eventually but isn't a total priority.....yet. Haha.

Shorty levers though- man, they're so far down the list. I really don't think I'd appreciate them that much. I'd buy a seat before I spent 300 bucks (CAD) or whatever it costs for Pazzos. Maybe if I found some used ones I'd be a bit more willing but they seem kinda rare to find used in my area.

I'm only 155lb. and the GSX-R suspension is SOOO much better! I ride agressive so I notice the difference in the turns and even regular riding. When you hit the brakes the bike front doesn't dive down and it feels like you have more contoll/traction through the twisties.

BTW, what area do you live?

Man, I love those carbon fiber Yosh TRS triangular slip-ons! Goes so well with the 2nd frame, I think. Eventually, I think my bike will have to have one.

Good pics too, btw! (And yeah...those graphics are weird. What are they supposed to be, snake-skin?)

Looks nice! Although I agree about those graphics looking a little out of place.

About the hugger, I have a (practicly) unused Carbon look PUIG that I can no longer use (dropped in a 180 rear wheel). If you're interested, drop me a PM.

Other than the graphics, it looks great. I would spend some time with a hair dryer and peel those off (they look like decals at least).
