I'm confuzzled.

I bought a 2007 SV650S and the previous owner changed all the signals to LED, including some mirror-integrated ones, so there are 6 signals now. One thing he didn't do is change the flasher relay, so the lights flash too quickly, so after some research, I decided to buy the replacement 7-pin flasher off eBay.

It comes in yesterday, I replace it, and the signals blink exactly once. Weird.

After some more research, I decide to give up on that one and just try one from the automotive parts shop, a Grote 44891 (http://www.grote.com/product.php?product_number=44891) wired directly into the two flasher lights as shown in some of the threads here. That didn't work at all, I don't even get a single flash, nevermind anything else.

So now I'm back to the OEM relay, with fast flashing again, and wondering if anyone here has any suggestions or ideas as to what I'm doing wrong!

Eh, I don't really need the answer anymore. Picked up a pair of resistors from the local motorbike shop, wired them into the rear signals, and all six flashers now blink perfectly!
