Hey everyone,
Last time I trailered the bike, the choke housing thing got twisted during the ride from the tie-downs.
Since then, the choke has been acting weird.
If I pull it all the way on, it moves the engine at about 1500 (rather than over 3000 like it used to), after 10 seconds or so, it starts to pop about twice a second or so.

I'm really stumped as to how this happened. I'm not sure if it happened exactly during the trailering, because I did alot of work on it during that week.

I'm still able to start it fine, but I worry about when the weather gets cold.
Any advice?

Start with the basics then.

Take the housing apart and make sure the clutch cable is routed properly. Then put the housing back together and pull on the lever. Does everything move like it should? If not, release the choke cables from the carbs and make sure the cable can move properly. While you're in there, look at the O-rings. Are they pitted? Flattened? Change them out.
