Anyone heading to bike week this year? I am making plans for the weekend of June 19th through June 21st. I am heading down from Central Maine with a few friends, we are meeting some people coming from Western Mass. It looks like there will be at least five to seven bikes. I am the only SV so far though. I am planning on camping. I may stay Friday night at a hotel if I can't get out of work in time. If there are any SV'ers going we should meet up, or ride down together.

I was planning on taking Route 2 from Central Maine to NH but if there are some southern Mainers that wanna ride along we can take an alternate route.

If you're willing to camp 20 miles away, you may as well stay in southern Maine. It's probably easier to get a site.

I'll be hauling the trailer to NHMS on the 14th for racing on the 15th with the USCRA, but not partaking in the traffic jam cruise component of Bike Week.

FYI - there are some great rides/routes Ashland to Laconia. I've got a farm in Henniker, NH about 38 miles to the track. If I'm in town those days (owner of a small construction Co) I would gladly show you around the "area".....let me know as we get closer or if you need something.

I was thinking about getting a small ride together from the south. maybe ride up the coast, get lunch and end up at laconia in the afternoon. Spend the day walking around and then slab it home.

I have done it for two summers now with my freinds from college, but alas I am not in college any more so i need to start a new event. We usually get like 10 bikes together and cruise around to make a day of it.

Finally got the speed triple going and a short test drive last night. I am going to change the oil and adjust the chain this morning and head out for a shake down ride with AJ on a 99 Sv he just picked-up Friday......he did an undertail mod and went though the bike while I was working on mine. Ian has a 01 sitting in the middle of the barn,he's going to tear off the front plastics and put a Buel dual light on it.....Travis is riding my yellow 05 with a fresh set of PPowers ......looks like we almost have 1/2 a ride right here.....

Want to pick the day based on the weather......were do you want to meet.....I know some roads over that way....

Laconia week is June 12th thru the 20th. I will try to go up the weekend of the 20th because the first weekend I will be taking a 3 day trip to VT and the aderondacks. I would like to get a group together to go. I need to start planning something soon
