you should visit a CycleGear or local cycle shop that carry Shift jackets.
Get a general idea of how Shift make their jackets (fit, quality, convenience, style, etc) and then you can make that judgement on your own.
(not being a jerk, just giving advice :D)

I have the same jacket without the vents. They seem to be cut on the small side. They are well made but a sleeved liner would have been nice. The zipper failed (got stuck at the top of the travel) shortly after I bought it but they replaced the jacket no problem. I had a stop sewn on to prevent that from happening again.

4 shops in town all carry brands I have never seen anywhere before. Only one I can think of is called Castle. The only place left with name brand leathers is the harley shop, no thanks. The jacket came today, 2 days from Dennis kirk............not bad i'd say. And it fits perfect.
