I live in NJ.
I have Rider Insurance.
I currently pay $493 for extended coverage, but as all us NJ residents know, our rates are likely to more than double after next year. So I've been shopping around for new insurance. And I found a much less expensive policy at a most unlikely place......

Now this only applies to you old guys/gals... AARP offers motorcycle insurance. I just got a quote from them for equivalent coverage to what I now have and the cost is $191 !!! This only works for you if you're over 50, or you can get an AARP member to cover you.

I haven't signed up yet, but it looks pretty good. I have no affiliation with AARP or the insurance company.

BTW you have to join AARP at $30 a year, I think. And you have to be over 50.
