Anyone thought about installing rivets to the where the can hooks up to the midpipe? It just seem like it could easily be "slipped-off" and stolen!!

Even with rivets you could still loosen the mid pipe clamp and take it.

You wouldn't really be able to put rivets in that area to connect the two. I use muffler paste when installing exhaust just to eliminate any possible leaks but that won't keep it from getting stolen.
I think you should worry about the whole bike being stolen instead of just the can..no?

Yea, I rarely leave my bike unattended for too long, I was just curious to see if anyone had attempted this.

Why wouldn't you be able to put rivets in that area?

Think I will just spot weld a few areas! Can to Mid-pipe & Mid-pipe to Pipe

Would make it a PITA to repack which is supposed to be done every 10,000 miles.
