Last April I took apart a 2019 model to use for a project and I've finally gotten to the wiring stage in that project and I can't for the life of me figure out where the coils plug in. I'm wondering if there is an intermediate cable or box that they connect to, I've looked over the wiring diagram but it has proved unhelpful. The bike was a stat writeoff but ran fine before I took it apart so there's clearly something I'm missing here.
(Pictured: The ends I have, there's plenty of these connectors but not two that physically fit or have the same heavy cables with matching colours)

I don't know whether this will help but the wiring colours change at the coil connectors. Both coils have Brown (Br) and a Black/White (B/W) stripe wires.

On the harness side though, ignition coil #1 has White/Red (W/R) stripe and Black/Red (B/R) stripe wires (B/R connecting to B/W on the coil)

Ignition coil #2 harness side has White/Red (W/R) stripe and Black (B) wires (B connecting to B/W on the coil)

I took this info from the 2016 US spec ABS service manual.

I thought entropy was thermodynamics.
It was borne originally from thermodynamics, but has far reaching applications in quantum physics, chemistry, meteorology, biology, IT, even economics. When I saw the posters name, I mixed it up with "atrophy", a term of which I am becoming increasingly familiar. When I realized it was "entropy", I had to poke around a little for the meaning of the term. That's when I found the association with quantum physics, a field in which I have a passing interest.

Nice catch GC.
