i've heard of people using gas station attendants, post office workers, or even police officers; what about a pastor or something seeing how it's a sunday arrival hehe

as long as you show them the agreement and explain the details, it should be fine.

Would a gas receipt work as a back-up?

Good Luck!

time date stamp receipts are required in addition to 2 witnesses , no time in a BBG to educate someone off the street, would be different if a saddlesore 1000, plenty of time, BBG is 1500 miles, 8 gas stops figure 15min each if you include lower speed travel from the I-way and that's rushin that leaves only 22 hours to travel 1500 miles, I'm planning a 21 hour pace to leave myself an hour of buffer

I have been planning an IBA 1000 mile for my 50th Birthday in October. All my route info, 24 hour gas stations, etc are now planned using Quest Street Navigator software. I believe I can do it in 19-20 hours having a 4 hour fudge factor if I require it. Total mileage is 1111 miles. Paducah has a couple of IBA members I can probably use for witnesses. Route and times are planned so I will not be riding into a rising nor setting sun.

Below is my planned route in a clockwise direction.
