Not sure if anyone else has tried these, but due to 'Luggage rack' i needed an alternitive turn signal. I thought i would give these a try and **** they are bright, almost obnoxiously so. I will attempt to post pics in a little while when i actually get them wired in (as opposed to sitting on the work bench)

youtube vid (not mine)

in summery, i give these 5/5 :bacon:

i'm always afraid someone is going to rear end me while stopped at a light, so maybe these are worth every penny. Do you use the hyper lites break lights in addition to the stock SV tail lights, or do you somehow mount them inside the housing? i actually really like how the stock tail lights look...

I was following a guy on a V-Star with those things wired up with his brake lights. They were bright as hell and I asked him about them at the stop light. Couldn't remember the name until I saw this thread.

Saw a guy with those actually installed the other day (a Harley, go figure) and even in the middle of the day they were bright from a distance. My buddy needs a new tail light and I think we're just going to use these.

My Nelson Rigg bags cover up my rear turn signals with its neoprene pads/rear strap. Can you post pics of how these mount? The bracket they offer would also be covered...

I though about getting a Clear Alternative tail light, but I like these better.

I was planning on keeping my turn signals and running the C.A. light in addition. I personally don't like the chrome/smoked tail lights look...I just need something that's visible when using my bags.

For $46 Hyper Lites sells 8-led amber turn signals. I'm sure I could fab up a way to mount them.

if you make your license plate mount just a little wider than the plate, you should be able to stick them on there. right now i'm planning on sticking them to my luggage rack, but it will be a little while till i get them mounted permanently as i have a primer to paint adhesion deficiency.
