Hey, i have a hyrdo clutch on my 03' sv 1000. For some reason i cant get it to engage. all the fluid is there. ive tried to bleed the lines, all i keep getting is air bubbles or it will start to work then it craps out. has anyone else had this problem. clutch works then doesnt. It shifts gears but when your sitting still you cant role the bike when you grab the clutch its like it locks it into place. Or it wont shift but will be stuck in gear.
I dont know. I always worked with cable clutches! can anyone help me?
no worries i got the clutch fixed. The bottem end of the housing on the clutch wouldn't seal right, beat it on, and cranked the bolts tight. Works good now
I threw away all the hydraulic crap and retrofitted a tl1000s sprocket cover, clutch actuator and lever with a sv 650 cable. This can be done for about $100 and has been working great for 12k miles+ now. I also like the feel better.
Thats kool wilie, but no need, I got it fixed. Ha, paying for something i couldnt even buy a stick of gum if i wanted too
