14,000 miles and minimal mods. Here's a quick pic.
This is my second "big" bike and my first SV. I had a Ninja 500R (GPZ500) before this. Loving the SV's additional torque and the Yoshimura slip-on.
The bike was straight enough to be ridden home 200 miles after I bought it, but there are several things that need sorting. Primarily, the shifter is often reluctant to accept downshifts, especially from fourth into third, unless I raise my heel off the peg and give the shift lever a firm tap. Going to start by changing the oil and adjusting the clutch cable.
Also, a previous owner installed a tail tidy and crappy aftermarket signals, which I intend to replace. Luckily for me, they cut off the stock connectors and spliced the signal wires straight into the loom. hOoRaY! (The front signals have been wired into the little bulbs beside the headlights. I don't hate it.)
Hoping to join the novice group at track days in the near future.
