I just picked up my new '08 SV650SF. I got a sweet deal on last years model.
I have been riding for about 20 years; however this is my first SV.
We just got about 4" of snow on Thursday. It was so bad (with the ice & blowing) that they closed the schools early. And 2 days later I pick up my bike!!

The only thing to do now is catch up on the forum.

Any other Minnesota (south central) riders?

I am in ManKato. I am originally from Stevens Point, WI. So usually drive through Wabasha when I go home to visit. I have also ocasionally riden the roads in SE MN and Western WI. Unfortunately, its 1.5 hrs to get to some decent (twisties) roads.

Welcome! I'm living in Mankato currently as well, only been riding since last spring. The SV was my first bike, and I'm loving it!

I actually had to ride to work today, since my roommate's car was having "mechanical difficulties". Good thing it was a nice day!
