Hi,

I was checking today about getting a CA title for my Oregon titled frame but they said at the AAA have to present a street legal bike to get a CA title for my frame.

Does anyone know if their is a way around that?

They also said they can`t check if there are any back taxes on the title since it`s an out of state one.

I tried to find something online but no luck so far.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you

Is it just a frame? As in no engine, seat, forks, etc....?
Yes, just the frame.

Now I feel like an idiot, that is a good idea.

Call me a fool, but I'd think that calling your local Department of Motorvehicles would quite possibly be the easiest and quickest way to get the correct answer to your question...

What's the AAA?
I normally try to avoid the dmv as much as possible and use the dmv service of the AAA which stands for American Automobile Association and they gave me the information I stated in my original post.

Thank you
