Is there any house hold items I can use to polish my aluminum holeshot can? It's gotten a lil foggy and not so smooth looking. I don't feel like buying stuff if I dont have to , but if I do, is there recommendations for doing such?

SUPER-fine steel wool, along with your favorite polish. I think it's like #00000 steel wool. Put a bit of elbow into it, and it should shine up purty good.

If you have any indian ink lying around ::) Mix it 50:50 with water. That is what they used to polish the hubble telescope. I tried it on a couple of parts and it does make for a seriously shiny finish.
