hey everyone got a 05 sv650s and want to give in more juice all ready put a new pipe on it and other sugestions?
You did a much better job of explaining this than I did.The SV650 isn't one of those motors that much more power can be gotten out of cheaply, easily or without seriously affecting reliability. A pipe and a good dyno tune will net you 5-6, cams maybe a bit more, and that's about it before the cost really escalates.
The 650 isn't about power, it's about balance and fun. If you want a lot more power you'll need to look at a different bike.
This is actually a good idea. As others have said you aren't going to get much more power from the SV motor, but more power is not the only way to go faster. Find ways to shave pounds off the bike and you will feel the difference. Motorcycles are so light to begin with that a few pounds can make a difference. This all sounds like a sweet excuse for some sexy light weight wheels and a ssa maybe?lose 100 lbs.
