I would be hard pressed to feel a difference in grip between any of the major tire manufacturers.

Well if you just manhandle the bars and don't use throttle control you would be able to tell a difference.

How do you break in a slick? same as a Race DOT? Go easy for a lap or so? This will be my first set.

There is a break-in procedure for tires? I just go.
