I'd say that he is "done" in MotoGP.
He was brought in very young and never came through on the potential that got him there. I think that is more due to the fact that he never had a competitive ride than lack of talent. As MotoGP moves forward they will be looking at up and coming 125/250 riders, not guys like Hopper who had their chance and lost their ride due to team issues.
Moving forward I think he will become a star in WSBK, or return to the US and dominate here.
