This is Glamis dunes in CA. Looking at the hill (wall) from the bottom:

This is looking down from the top of hill, notice the guys at the bottom:

not as vertical as the video but climbing a big sand hill on atcs without paddle tires is very challenging!

Actually, I've done stuff like what ari posted. And some lesser tall hills on a bicycle. Not done it in sand. It's fun fishtailing and then spraying your friends with dirt then blaming the bike when they complain.

Just kidding, I really miss dirt riding. I was hoping to get back into some serious off-road but my back is too bad to do much more than easy trails/fire roads.

BTW, that's Zach at the top waiting on me. That hill is intimidating as all hell but every time I go up it I think "Gee, that wasn't so bad." I still refuse to go down it though. I've seen a couple of guys do it and it scares the livin' sh*t out of me.
