Anyone ever put higher bars on an SV650 naked? I know, I know, the it's the anti-racer... :) I was just kind of thinking the other day that I might like to try an inch or 2 higher. Would a 2-inch increase require new brake lines & clutch/throttle cables? TIA!

I have 1" risers on mine. Made it more comfortable for now. If you plan on doing more then 1"........ yeah, your gonna need longer brake lines.....

I had 4" risers with SM T2 bars on my (now stolen) 2000...

If you go more than about an inch or two higher then stock you're gonna run into cable/hose problems. You can have these custom made and they're not terribly "expensive" but something you should keep in mind.

You can also use the cables and hoses off of a 650 V-Strom according to Suzuki (It was printed in Cycle World a couple months back).
