um, hi.
i'm tyler, relatively new to bikes, so i'm lurking this forum pretty thoroughly so i don't hafta ask a billion noob questions. stoked to see how many awesome build threads and useful info there is on this forum already. i just bought an 06 sv650 (pix below) and its already pretty well modified to suit my tastes. this is unusual for me because i'm normally the type to do all my own modifications and never leave anything untouched, but i found one that already ticked many of the boxes of what i would have done anyways. i'm a novice rider, not a ton of experience under my belt, but i'm always looking to improve my skill set. luckily i'm spoiled by living in north San Diego county, only about 1.5 hr drive to Mt Palomar, and not very far away from Ortega Hwy also. Even the roads right near my house in Rancho Santa Fe are pretty fun (although i'm very respectful of speed limits and traffic safety :naughty: )

here are some pix of "vanna".

Looks great, the ducati monster headlight looks exactly the same as the SV but the lens isnt clear. Feel free to search the forums for a cabillion questions that have been answered but anything specific just ask if you cant find it. Welcome to the board and to the SV world.
