Hey all,

I just bought a 2013 Gladius. Owner abandoned the project several years ago.

Sold me all the original parts, plus all the mod parts he had acquired. Bike still needs a few more parts in order to be completed.

Front forks were converted to GSXR forks. Rear suspension too. Handlebars are custom. Thicker.

Front tire is a GSXR tire. Needs brake rotors and new steel mesh brake line. Front brake lever needs to be reinstalled.

Rear brake needs a new brake line too.

Wiring harness needs to be reinstalled. I think the ECU does too. Custom speedometer/fuel gauge needs to be installed.

Needs a chain (owner says a chain for the current SV650 model will work).

Needs mod exhaust can.

Gas needs to be syphoned, as it's around 3 years old.

I think that's about it.

While I know I can do some of these tasks, I'd rather have a great Suzuki tech help complete this project, so I know it was done right.

I love Gixxertech out of Lakewood, WA, but I live near Oakland, CA now. Can anyone recommend a great tech in my area?

I'm willing to transport the bike to Lakewood if that's my best option. It would be cool to find a great tech near me though.

Thanks,

Mike

Well, trying to get back at this, after months idle.
I removed and drained the gas tank, then life got overwhelming.

Seems to me I need to make sure this thing runs. In order to do that I plan to:

1) reinstall the wiring harness
2) reinstall the fuel pump (if needed - not sure it was removed)
3) reinstall the ignition
4) check to see if the pistons can turn over (not sure how)
5) check spark plugs and clean or replace, as necessary
6) check and charge the battery

Does that sound about right? Any advice, tips or tricks?

Thanks,

Mike
