I've searched you tube and some of our forums. I am replacing the throttle cables on my 2004 SV 650 S to complete my handlebar rising / upright seating project. How do I install the cables on the motor side? I had no problems on the handlebar end. Please direct me to the resource that clearly tells/shows me how the cable ends are connected. I would think that the instructions would be plentiful, like on the handlebar end. I have the Haynes Online Manual. Is the Chilton manual any better on this topic? I have attached a photo of the bike's right side for an overview, showing the handlebar end loosely attached and the old cables leading to the area of problems. I also attached 2 close up photos , one shows the cables detached from the holders, the other just showing confusion. I hoping that one of you all sees this post and knows my solution. Someone posted a service manual of 650 pages on our site but I can't locate it.

A couple of screen shots of the Suzuki dealer Manual the cables hook into the rear of the throttle shaft and wrap around (see red arrow on screen shot). I have an 05 in work at the moment and can take some photos if required

I’ve done it with the TBs on the bike, but it’s a whole lot easier with them disconnected from the engine. It seems like more work, but likely takes less time

Thanks you guys! I removed the throttle bodies which wasn't too difficult, once I found the correct screws were clamps. Once loosened they popped off with some wiggling back and forth. I'll post some photos when I finish the job, hopefully this am! Someone posted the electronic shop manual and I can't find it. If anyone has it please send! It will be helpful for future projects. Dave D's photos of just a few pages are clearly superior to the online Haynes Manual I bought.
