Ok, good weather is coming, and I need new chain and sprockets, the one I have now is finished...

So, I'm looking for something durable, but I wanna get more performance than the stock system...

Is going to a 520 a big difference from 525 in speed and throttle response without changing the ratio(44/15)?

http://www.sprocketcenter.com/p/103086/afamdid-520erv3-chain-alloy-sprocket-race-kit---suzuki.html

This set looks tempting, but its pretty expansive and dunno if itll last long, I usually ride everyday, sometime I practice some wheelies, and sometimes i like to kick it hard.

Any thoughts?

PS, can someone refresh my mind about the teeth on the sprocket? stock is 44/15 for sv650s, so if I increase rear(44) i get more top speed, and if I lower front(15) i get more acceleratioN?

Stock sprockets are a good buy. They wear very well. I would recommend staying with 525s.

Divide the number of rear teeth by the number of front teeth. Higher numerical ratio gives more acceleration, maybe a loss of top speed. Lower numerical ratio gives less acceleration, lower RPMs in daily driving. Top speed is sort of limited by wind resistance and engine torque fall off as the revs go up. There are situations where a slightly higher numerical ratio gives higher top speed. Some bikes go faster (top speed) in fifth than sixth.
