Maybe try this:



This should preserve most of the stock wiring as well as the inline fuses (if the diagram is accurate). Your "low beam" should be on as long as the ignition is on and the "high beam" should only be on when switched. The high beam indicator should work, too.

Disclaimer - I'm tired and knocked this out pretty quick, so it could be completely wrong and cause your bike to spontaneously combust if you wire it up without thinking about it...but I think it's ok, haha.
