What kind of screws are used in the handlebar clamp bolts? I took the caps off and took a look but I don't think i have a tool that removes them.

What about the shiney stuff on top. Is that something I can just pop off?

Yes...those pop off. Just get underneath wtih a flat screw driver and pop it up.

The little plastic buttons have to be turned after you put them back in...if they aren't, you'll lose them after the first hard acceleration like I did.

I just rotated my handlebars back a few degrees and it makes a lot of difference for me as far as comfort, now my wrists are straighter and more relaxed, it also affected my riding posture for the better.
