Is there a good way to install Symtec grip heater elements so that I can re-use them if I change bars? I'm hoping that I can use some electrical tape instead of the adhesive on the elements. Thanks in advance.

Use hair spray. Works well putting on, and taking off grips.

I've done it on all my bicycle handlebars. Just did it for my Driven grips. I ride in all weather, never had a problem with water loosening up the hold.

A little bit of carb cleaner applied to the adhesive will dissolve it enough to get them of without forcing them. It will also make getting the grips off really easy (spray under-twist-slide off). Apply new adhesive to the back of the heaters in the form of double-sided carpet tape or grip glue and you're set.

Or go buy a new set of grip heaters from casporttouring.com for $35.
