Hi everyone,

A little over a year ago, I bought a 2019 SV 650 off the showroom floor to use as a dedicated track bike. So far, I've swapped the suspension for the Traxxion AR25 damper rod kit in the front and a Penske double clicker in the rear. I also put Pirelli Diablo Rosso Crosa IIs on the wheels and added an arrow slip on for sound and looks. This winter, I will be putting on a Yoyodyne slipper clutch on it, a full M4 exhaust system with a dyno tune (if anyone has any recommendations for reputable tuners driving distance from New Orleans, I would appreciate it) , woodcraft rear sets, and possibly a cam swap. Looking ahead, I'm thinking of a radial master cylinder, stainless steel lines to bypass ABS , lower woodcraft clip ons, and hot bodies track bodywork. Love this bike and working on it is half the fun. Thanks for all the great info on the forum, it really helps sorting things out. Here's a picture of the bike on a rainy day at Barber.

Welcome to SVR Bob. I'm in Covington. You've certainly dove in head first. Sounds like a fun project. Enjoy.

Great looking bike Bob, welcome! I like that model, the seating position reminds me of my S model. I can recommend the brake upgrade. That and the suspension are the best money I've spent on my SV.

Thanks Drewski! Which brake master cylinder did you go with, may I ask?
I rebuilt an R6 piece I got off ebay. It was cheap-ish, but I spent a fair bit on the real-deal Brembo rebuild kit, making a nos piece from Partzilla almost worth it. The new part is $250 though, and by then you may as well spring for a real RCS19 for $100 more.
At any rate, my old Brembo R6 mc is a fine upgrade and I'm happy with it.

Off topic - my wife and I just went back to nola for the first time in years last August. I had to get my fill of this:
