my viper micro carbon cap 20cm exhaust came.

i put it on, its sooo sexy it hurts.

unfortunately, it had a rivet that was pushed in too far and it pushed a little metal plug into the can and leaked like a whistle out the rivet hole. and you could hear the little piece shaking around in the can. oh and the carbon cap was not riveted properly either and it leaked up around the side pretty badly as well.

i hate returning crap. i bet they wont reimburse for shipping and handling either.

summary.... the viper exhaust quality control inspector needs to die in a fire

Sorry to hear about that. My viper, in the exact configuration as yours, appears to be just fine. Maybe I'll take a closer look at it tonight.

Even if you have to take a hit on the shipping charges, it would be better to get one that's 100%, no?

purchased through flyncycle.com. they didnt give me any hassle about returning it, but i paid for 2day UPS air shipping when i bought it, plus returning it UPS ground means i'm more than likely out 80bucks right there. ****it.

i have seen and heard other viper cans before, and while i heard the first gen linkpipe fittment was a problem, i really wasnt expecting anything like this. and **** did it look awesome. but it leaked so badly it sounded like crap.

i know i could probably just go for an exchange and the odds are i would get an ok can the second time around, but i'm just gonna pony up the extra 50 bucks and order an M4 titanium standard mount.
