Good reason to own Gladius (CUSTOM)

Here is the first good example I have seen to own a Gladius. It also answers my question as to what it looks like without the fake plastic frame covers. I would put this in the Gladius thread but I thought more people would see it here. I apologize if this has alreadt been posted. I looked and could not find it.

I thought you said it was a good reason. That makes me want to go buy a DRZ400SM not a Gladius.
it's still gay.
Now we know what it looks like under the stupid plastic cover! Not bad Suzuki. When you take the cover off, it can no longer be called "gladius" right?
The undertail is ok, and it's nice to finally see what's under the side plastic, but the two biggest design mistakes are still there: the radiator side covers and the headlight.
Other than the color, I can dig it. It's also the first good look we've gotten at what's behind the stupid plastic side covers. That frame actually looks pretty good.
I'm still advocating a gladius framed racer with a TL1000 engine when someone decides to waste that money.
Showing some potential. Maybe when they come down to reasonable used price in 3-4 years and I've worn out the SV it might make a project.

The burning question is: What does the other side look like?
umm... ish on the front fender

To each his own I guess. My point was more that you can modify it to look less ugly and still have a 650 twin. It is probably still easier to make a Gladius a supermoto than it is to make a DRZ400sm a 650 twin. Besides it is already a given that a DRZ is desireable without modification but what kind of fun would that be?:)
The bike is much improved in the customized version and shows potential, although his/her choice of colors leaves me wondering why he/she bothered. I saw a Gladius up close and personal at the International MC Show in Cleveland. I did not like it. Somehow it just looked cheap to me, as well as having some hideous design flaws, like the rear passenger grab rails. They are the awful, and there is way too much plastic for a bike that isn't faired. It also didn't fit me as well as the SV.
How about we move this gawdawful post over to the gheyladius forum?
So by adding rearsets and removing that stupid frame cover the bike looks much better
I'm more interested in the Hayabusa behind it. That's the first one I've ever seen that I liked. Looks like the rear wheel is spokeless?
Honestly that just makes me miss my old mongoose diamondback....like the first one to the right of this pic.

IMO, spoke wheels were only thing cool on that bike.

Its lexan.
I like it, even if the colors aren't good. Put the right combination of colors on it and it will looks sharp. It looks like a Monster to me.
