So I bought a used Givi A760 for my '05 naked bike off the forum here. I put it on this evening. I mounted the slot on the Givi on the outside of the brushed aluminum head light mount. It seemed to fit best there, but I had to preload it to spread it a bit to make it fit. Is this typical? Also, the mounting bolts now appear to be too short. Again, typical? Finally, I wasn't able to use the adjustable stop bushings, as they wouldn't clear the black brackets that the stock tiny fairing mounts too. I angled the GIvi back against the speedo housing and tightened the headlight mount bolts. Again, typical?

Thanks for any insight...

I have the exact same shield on my '07 SV650 naked, and like it a lot. I didn't have any problems installing it, but I do have slightly higher bars than stock. Maybe that explains why I had no trouble?

Can you post a picture?
