could you post an example of this "full tank cover" ? Also you could always fill the dent depending on how bad the dent is.

i dunno why every one is gung ho about filling dents just take it to a good body shop and they can probally pull it out depending on severity. I'm not saying they can do miracles but for smaller dents it ain't nothin

See if a body shop can pull a dent (not a little hail dent) without putting filler in it. When I said "fill the hole" I though it was understood that the dent would need to be pulled as much as possible anyway. Ever try gettin 4 inches of putty to stay in a dent for more than a week, yeah its not gonna happen. :p

if you go to sv650.org you will see them on plenty of the euro guys bikes.
after looking at that i can officially say thats one thing that will never ever under any circumstances find its way onto my bike.

while admittedly, i would not be in a big hurry to find one and put on my bike, in it's defense that is a bad pic of the product. i have been lurking on sv650.org and have seen many bikes with them that do not look too bad.

here are a couple i found.

ive seen several in person and they look reall good on the naked, but 2nd gen covers are made of some silly shiney material that looks plastic and stupid.. the faux patten lather looks good though.

Yes the 03+ SV650 and SV1000 use the same tank.
