In rush hour traffic an old lady didn't see me coming through an intersection and took a right hand turn right out in front of me. I grabbed the front brake hard to avoid running into the back of her, missing her by inches, but locked up the front and flung 'gently' over the bars.

I was only doing 25mph through the intersection - am guessing the lever was the first thing to impact the ground, but the right side frame slider did it's job quite well.

You can see from the pictures below that the damage to the bike was very minimal.

Brake lever is in perfect working order, the damage is purely cosmetic. A shot of black paint on the 2 exposed parts and you'd hardly be able to tell.

Honestly, the only reason I'm selling it is because I live at home and don't want the parents to know about it. Already replaced it with a new ASV lever.
