Hello all got a quick question! Will a 120 70ZR17 size tire fit the front of my SV, I know it calls for a 120 60ZR17 but was wondering. Thanks for all the help.

Yup, it actually makes your speedometer more acurate. I run 70s and I dig it. ;)

That size is pretty much the standard on SV race bikes. If you do it you'll have to raise the fork tubes to regain steering geometry since that is a taller tire.

Spedo more accurate? i thought it put it like 8% off or something? I didn't change my tripples at all, i liked the heavier steering, didn't feel as touchy. I later put on SM2 bars and then dropped the forks down since i didn't have all the leverage of the high bars.

It ought to pout the speedo off, but the speedo's off as standard so the new "error" more or less corrects it. Makes a load of sense, doesn't it? :)

One thing, if you've got a fender extender you might have clearance issues too.
