Just bought an 08 second gen about a month a go. It’s my first bike. I don’t even have my license yet so yes I’m a noob... But I was dying to try it out .First I had trouble rolling out of my garage. Thought it was just in gear. So I rolled it out with clutch engaged .after about 10 mins of riding everything seemed fine. Did a couple of nice pulls and I felt good riding it ....I was then doing around 30-40 mph... tried stopping and the front brakes were rock solid and I almost rear ended the car in front me... red Abs light went and a lil after that the brakes went back to normal some how? It’s happened a couple times already
Now I don’t trust the bike at all...
Any advice will help thank you

I had a problem with a worn out pivot on the lever, which caused it to bind, limiting my overall stopping power, but I can't see how that would cause an ABS light to come on if I had it.
