Found a potential track bike, looking for opinions

I've been looking for a dedicated track bike for about a year now. I may have found it, but I'm a little hesitant. It is a 2006 ZX6R (636) that has a salvage title. From what I can tell, it needs plastics/hardware and that is it. Not sure of the mileage, but the frame, swingarm, forks, and wheels look good and straight. I think I can pick this up for $2k. Does that price sound fair? High? Low? I've been looking for SV's, but we all know how high that demand is. What are your thoughts?
