Just a quick question perhaps someone could answer. Can you take the fork springs out of the forks without removing the forks from the bike? When I changed the fork oil and took the caps off, the spring is visable from the top. Wondering if you could just hook the spring and pull it out the top??? THANKS!

yes, but you should consider removing the forks from the bike and inverting them in order to drain all the old/different weight oil before putting new ones in. if you're looking to swap out the springs, same situation...the aftermarket springs w/spacers will displace a different amount of oil in the fork. by just pulling out the existing fork spring and replacing it with an aftermarket will not be ideal, and borderline dangerous.
