I need a dimension of the gap between the forks and frame boss that attaches the radiator. I made delrin fork stops for a GSXR600 conversion and I know that I need less gap than what I have.

I wouldn't worry too much about what stock is. Just get as much steering lock as you can without it causing problems. (Stuff hitting, cables binding, etc...) It may be different with the GSXR setup.

RichDesmond i see you have sonic springs in your sig, maybe you could help me with a diferent question. I have 03 GSXR600 forks with the stock springs and I have no idea what weight they are plus they dont have enough static sag to them. When I sit on the bike all I get for sag is 3/4 of an inch with stock springs. Any advise on what springs I would need for a 190# rider?
