Ford's swears it is not going to take money from the feds.
Yeah, I had heard that Ford had backed out and was not asking for any bail out money anymore.

They stated that they wouldn't take any gov't money back in early December if I remember correctly.
viva ford!

That's a stand up decision.
It's just that they don't need it yet. In fact, they have asked for a portion to be set aside for them should they need it later.

Dont be fooled..... it was a marketing decision. They are in no better shape then the other 2, but they knew they would smell like roses to the public by not taking the money.... YET. A way possibly getting some market share the other 2 will lose by taking the money. Honestly..... pretty smart move. But with Ford/Lincoln/Mercury dealers closing their doors faster then the other 2 ( at least here in the NYC area ) , it will only be a matter of time before they will some money...
People STILL consider buying from these obtuse companies?

Our dealer is doing fine........ Service is quite busy, and Sales is selling cars.....

No issues here, we will survive this....

+1 for Ford trucks.
Go Ford. Now, where are all the Diesels?

I'm done with Ford. I've owned 5, and my focus is the last one I will ever own.
