I bought my first bike (2009 Gladius) and I need to replace the license plate light to pass a safety inspection. I've spent a couple hours fussing with it and I cannot figure out how to remove the rear fender and it's driving me nuts. Way too much work to replace a tiny light bulb. Anyways, I can't find a video and the photos in the manual don't make any sense to me. Can anyone help out?

I currently have the frame covers removed and as well as the rear frame covers and the seat lock cable. According to the manual I have to remove some invisible clamps under my seat, and disconnect wires. I removed the screw underneath the rest that's supposed to drop a small panel down to reveal screws, but I can't pry it off.

Pry harder. Use a spray bottle with soap solution around the joints. That said, put everything back together.

Pry out the clear cover for the license plate bulb. There's enough room to R&R the bulb.
