Hi everyone,

My name is Danny from NE Iowa and I have just bought an '06 SV650. I pick it up Friday morning, can't wait! I've ridden dirt bikes on and off for 6-7 years but this is the first street bike I've ever bought. I've always wanted one and now I've got one. Someone has got to stimulate this economy, right?

I've been on the site for a few days and everyone I've talked to has been very helpful. It seems like a pretty close knit community, which I will probably be depending on a lot as I go along. Anyway, thanks for the help and I can't wait until all this snow around here melts so I can get riding!

Welcome Danny!! You'll get a lot from the guys of the this forum....if you want to do any mods at all they'll help a ton. I went from dirt driving to the street and the main advice I have is take it slow, have fun, and always wear your gear!!
