What are the differences between '99 - '02 and 03+ SV 650s?

I'm bored at work... what the hell...

2ND GENS LOOK BETTER, ARE FASTER, CAN FLY, AND MAKE NAKED GIRLS CHASE YOU DOWN THE STREET!!

1st gens on the other hand.... well lets just say that they get beat by Vespas all the time!

ALSO: Shell Rotella adds 70hp per quart and never requires oil changes.

PS: 636 shock is the best EVAR!

OH YEAH: Pilot Powers!!

ONE MORE THING: SILVER IS THE FASTEST COLOR!!1!11! EVAR!!!

I won't even post the SV into a tree video...

Hehe, not flaming, just making a joke you'll get very soon!

danfam17, how's that 1875 watt Vidal Sassoon working for ya? I was thinking about getting the 2350 watt Conair!

Looks wise I prefer the 1st gen.

Performance wise, 2nd gen. I have been tempted to buy one, but do not need the payment right now.

2nd gen looks more like all the other street bikes, not a good thing IMO

I'm beginning to agree more and more. I just sold a '99 and I kinda wish I'd kept it and fuel injected it and sold my '03 instead... but the '03 has sentimental value.
