and who was it that said a GSXR MC wont work with SV lines? here it is on a stock front end waiting for the swap. (I didnt like the look of one pazzo)

I have no idea what rearsets these are I know they came off of a 05 GGXR1k

after assembling the front end I realized the bolts for the calipers are about 10mm too big so Im getting busa wave rotors and R6 calipers now might as well get a new wheel that doesnt need paint and forks that have new seals already with no scratches.

Nice looking bike man. By the way those are '05-06 GSXR 1000 Sato rear sets.

I believe the problem lies with GSX-R master cylinders that are designed for radial-mount calipers.

thanks alot on the info. I need a replacment shifter because it was silver that was why they were so cheap. I got them for $85 on ebay a long while back. I painted the shifter black but on the first ride the paint came off in spots

Nice, they're $520 new. I would love to get a set but that price was a major put off. To get replacement parts you need to email them, here's where to.

thanks guys. yes the mater does "touch" at full lock, it hits it by maybe 1-2mm not much at all. I been saving up for a wider driveway but need to tear up my current one first (NOT YET). I sent an email to sato for the shifter, I can't believe I scored them. The original owner of the rearsets didnt know what they were either. I dont know if you can see the R6 rearend that will go on as soon as I get back from vacation, but I been working hard to make it work and finally figured it out with welding/bending/bolting/cutting it is done.

I thought that I would add that those rearsets need to be modified to fit second gen SV. so unless you got fabbing skills stay away from teh 05-06 gsxr 1k rearsets.
