I know we have talked about this till the end. I had some threads saved but they got lost.
I want to run a 525 sprocket on an f3 rear wheel. I want a 45 46 47 tooth sprocket would be nice.

I have the compleat wheel. and i have a first gen sv. Just order the kit from TWF and relace all the bearings and use my sv axle correct... someone inform me please.

i may have figured it out.

In 1998 the cbr had a 525 sprocket and all the other years before were 530.
So if i order a sprocket for a 1998 cbr 600 that will be 525?
someone correct me if i am wrong please.

ask what size is before ordering.
you only have to replace one bearing with my kit, others only if you want new bearings.yes, you use stock axle.

Yes, get a 98 CBR 900RR rear sproket from SunStar. It's steel like the factory sproket so it will last. However I do not recommend the 15/45 combo...makes a ratio of 3 and the chain doesn't seem to like it. I would do a 44 or 46 rear. Good luck!

I haven't piped in with my opinion on sprockets in a while, but why not just go 520? They will last almost as long as 525 on an SV and availability will never be an issue.

Nothing outlasts steel sunstars...they are invincible to the laws of nature. (they are only $30 too)

KT, 97-98 F3 came with 525 sprockets, 95-96 was 530. 900RR is same as 97-98 F3, so just play it safe and order that one.
